Norfest
Weekly Greeting: Sunday 6 November
Dear Friends
Once again, thank you to the Volunteers and Staff that made Norfest what it was. Thank you too for your support of Norfest. It has been a blessing to hear stories from different people, both Northfielders and Visitors, about the positive experiences of being part of the Norfest event. May we never get used to and take for granted, the resources and facilities we have been blessed with.
Weekly Greeting: Sunday 30 October
Dear Friends
After what feels like months of furlough it is really good to be back and to be worshipping with the family of Northfield. Today we focus on two themes and they are connected. The first is “Staying Moral in a tough World” and the second is “A Celebration of the Harvest”. Staying moral will be the focus of the sermon and the celebration of the harvest will be the focus of our Worship.

Weekly Greeting: Sunday 2 October
Dear Friends
October is upon us!! I trust that you are enjoying this wonderful season of watching creation come alive in expectation of the first summer rains.
Welcome to our services today. A very special welcome to Rev Derek Wilson who comes to share with us at both the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. services. The focus for today is Finding God's will for our lives. This is a crucial issue, for a life lived without discovering God's will is qualitatively so much poorer than a life lived within the will of God.
Weekly Greeting: Sunday 13 September
Dear Friends
Warm greetings! As many of you know. Northfield Methodist Church will soon be hosting for the fourth time our annual NORFEST. We would love you to share in this event in some way. But perhaps, first of all, you would like some information around why we host this event. Here are some reasons why we invest so much time and energy in this event.

Some feedback on The Norfest Events!
A big, big thank you to all who worked so hard to make Norfest a success. There was a lovely spirit of togetherness on campus, which was exemplified by the attitude of the cast of the Witness whose desire was simply to glorify Jesus by telling the Gospel story through music. The crafters were very appreciative of our treatment of them and are queuing up for next year. The pancake stall was..........!
Between Norfest, The Witness, Coffee and Book shops and the White Elephant sale, roughly R70 to R80 thousand rand was raised.

Norfest is over, so much work has gone into the festival. Norfest is organised by the NBI under John Roux's leadership, aided by many helpers and on behalf of Northfield I want to express our sincere appreciation to John and his team. The proceeds of Norfest will go towards paying off our bonds.
