Northfield Methodist Church

This group of approximately 60 women, many of whom are seniors, meet every second Thursday at 10:00 for 10:30am, in the Fellowship Hall to deepen their relationship with God and with each other. While some meetings are social events, with guest speakers, others are deeply spiritual. The WA is constantly busy with projects like the knitting of beanies for the oncology department, knee rugs and bed socks for the elderly, and teddy bears for our pastoral visitation teams. They provide lunch for Hospice and raise funds for their forget-me-not child. They also entertain the Seniors at Fairleads to tea as well as having the odd outing to entertain themselves.
