Norfest Christmas Market 2010

2010-10-27 09:00
2010-10-30 19:00

Come and experience a traditional and romantic Christmas Market in October and avoid the queues, allowing you to shop at leisure and get the pick of the best. At Norfest the gifts are not mass-produced but craftwork of real quality.
You can buy all kinds of Christmas merchandise and gifts, as well as wood carvings, jewellery, educational toys, plants, gift cards, bags, preserves, beaded items and so much more. Let the smell of pancakes draw you into the Food court, where you can also try some home made ginger beer that is very welcome on a warm summers day.
On the entertainment side, we will be hosting the AKUSTIKA CHAMBER CHOIR, on Friday 29 October, Winners of the Pavarotti World Choir award. The ticket price is R60 per person with special discounts for pensioners and scholars. On Saturday we welcome the East Rand Youth Choir.
The ambience is further enhanced by the aromas of chicken prego rolls, potato whirls and other tasty snacks. Youngsters especially will be attracted to the sugar shots, marshmallow sticks and other sweet goodies.
The most difficult decision to make is where to start? The best solution is to sample Norfest for some serious shopping.
