Jesus Master of the Universe - Sunday 16 May
Scripture Reading:
Daniel 7:13-14, Acts 1:1-11,Eph 1:15-23, John 3:1-17 or Matt 28:16-20.
JESUS – MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE 150 Days of Renewal As of Easter Sunday we have entered into a Time of Renewal.
For the next 150 Days we will be viewing all that we do through
the lens of Renewal. As you consider the lesson and the
questions for this week would you also consider the underlying
question, “How would this bring renewal into my life today?”
Ice Breaker: What feelings or ideas come to mind when you
see pictures of the Universe?

1) The reading from Daniel describes a vision of one “like the son of man” who was given authority , glory and sovereign power, all peoples, nations and men of every language worshipped him. The reading from Ephesians offers a similar picture.
How do we reconcile this vision with the “state of the world” today? Comment.
2) Do you think the “church” has responded well to the instruction (Matthew 28: 19, 20) to make disciples of all the nations?
3) During the 150 Days of Renewal, what do you think Northfield needs to be doing?
