Jesus - Master of Life - Sunday 18 April
Scripture Reading:
2 Samuel 11:1-17, John 21:15-27, 1 Peter 1:2b-9
"Trials prove faith genuine and result in praise, glory and honour." (See 1 Pet 1:6-7)
Ice Breaker: Trace this truth through the life story of one of the following: Moses, David, Jesus, Peter or any other life story.
Reflecting over a trial that has come your way in life, respond to the following:
1. In your trial, has your faith been tested? How so?
2. Did failure feature in your trial? Speak a little around where that failure or potential failure left you?
3. Moses, David and Peter are reinstated after failing in their trials. This resulted in praise, glory and honour. Can you identify a "reinstatement moment" in your life or do you think it still lies ahead of you?
4. In order to recognise reinstatement moments, speak a little around ones known to you.
