Preparing the way for Jesus - Sunday 11 December

Preparing the way for Jesus

Read Isaiah 40: 1 - 11

When Kings visited a community it was tradition to prepare the way. Holes would be filled in, humps would be flattened, obstacles removed from "the way". A similar demonstration is recorded when Jesus entered Jerusalem and the crowd lined the way and through palm branches and cloth along the way.

There is a call to "Prepare the way " in your heart this Christmas.
